XIAOMI MI 8 Se The Evolution of Next Generation Budget Smartphone
Xiaomi made wonders in the past few years with few of its smartphones that have Xiaomi's own innovative hardware implementations. One such example is the Mi Mix that have cantilever piezoelectric ceramics and an ultrasonic distance sensor which replaced the devices' speaker and proximity sensor respectively. The company is mostly popular for it's budget segment devices. Specially in India, the redmi series ruled the hearts of the younger generation. Early this year the redmi note 5 pro right after its launch in the Indian market, set a new record of sale. Now, Xiaomi is bringing something for the first time, that really deserves to be called next generation.
Qualcomm announced their next generation snapdragon 700 series chipset early this year in MWC with much powerful A.I. capabilities than its previous generation. It will come with Qualcomm's multicore A.I. engine that can deliver up to 2x performance over on board applications than the 600 series mobile platform. It will be the same 10 nm technology like the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and will include the kryo 360 gold and kryo 360 silver cores. You can imagine what how fast and efficient it can be. Qualcomm said that the first snapdragon 700 series powered devices will hit the market in the second half of the 2018. Now, the time has come and it is first Xiaomi that announced first such phone which is going to be the Mi 8 Se.
