27/05/18: SlashLeaks on China’s certification site TENAA spots the alleged Redmi 6 Pro. It carries a model number M1805D1SE. The back seems identical to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It will feature a metal design with vertically placed dual camera setup on the left, and a usual fingerprint sensor at the center. The listing shows a 5.84-inch full HD+ display running at a resolution of 2280x1080pixels, and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Therefore, it will surely feature a notch.

21/06/18: Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro launching along with MI PAD 4 in China on 25 June. The handset might be launching with snapdragon 625. The phone will feature a big battery, hence it might feature the massive 4000 Mah beast.

24/06/18: The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is launching in China tomorrow. The phone have a flagship ability to hinder notch. Now we have yet another photo of Redmi 6 Pro that confirmed almost all the design aspect of the device.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 chip might be powering this device and offers 3 GB RAM + 32 GB and 4 + 64 GB RAM and storage options. The phone may not feature an OLED display.

Camera

Rumours indicate that the phone will include a 12 MP + 5 MP (1.25 μm pixels) dual camera on the rear and a 5 MP camera on the front. Therefore a drawback infront of Redmi Note 5 Pro. The device is expected to be running MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
